What can you do when you can’t do anything

What can you do when you can’t do anything?

When you feel that your hands are tied

And not doing anything is killing you from the inside.

What can you do when you can’t do anything?

When you want to help someone,

Someone about whom you care,

But they are simply pushing you far far away.

“No!” they say ” you don’t understand”

Why will I not if only they’ll tell?

But I respect their wishes and

Vanish from their sight,

Hiding away the pain inflicted by their miseries.

Why do they consider themselves solitary in their grief?

Hasn’t the world already provided us with enough experiences of sufferings.

How can they consider themselves different from me?

When our lives have already been woven into a single thread of being.

What can you do when you can’t do anything?

Sit back and suffer the endless despair with them

Or force down their walls of privacy n endanger your relation

I guess there might be a third option to leave them on their own

But neither I am that selfless nor Nobel enough to do so…

  1. May be person on the other hand wants to share his/her problem but just dont want to spread negativity of his/her life to others..
They want atleast others to be happy

  2. Ya but if u don’t know the solution to ur problem, another perspective of someone who truly cares about u might actually help, may be they had faced something similar. No good comes out of suffering in silence.
